Yeah completed the National Runway event, cycled 45km in an hour an half like that... haha.. well didn't really time also... around there la... haha...
well morning there was a slight moderate drizzle, but fortunately it cleared away before the event start! if not go all the way there cannot cycle sure du lan wan! :p
since it started to rain when i reach there, we were ushered into this some sort of gallery area where they were quite a number of aircraft on display, here are some of them;

i forgot what this instrument is liao... some sort of radar detecting machine ba.. haha...
this was the Gatling gun used on planes during war before my time... i say my time ok... i dunno when.. haha...

after that there was a 'APACHE heli' & a 'Black Knights fighter jet' on display for people to take pics and receive souvenirs..
this is one of the pilots for the Apache helicopter, was very friendly!actually he came to volunteer to help me and Chua take photo, but i say 'NO' i want to take photo with you!
so Chua went to hide in a corner to cry... hehe

National Runway Skating and Cycling is an annual event held at Paya Lebar Air Base..
the Air Base would be closed for that day every year to allow people to skate and cycle on its Runway track..
there are different categories for everyone, namely family, kids & if you want to challenge yourself, there is the Shimano Endurance Challenge where Skaters skate for 30 km and Cyclists cycle for 45km!
